My secretary desk

Here is finished piece of a salvaged item that a friend gave me.  Unfortunately, I did not take before photos because this was a creation before I began blogging.  However, this old piece was originally oak in color and had a white porcelain knob.  I painted the wood a nice sage green, replaced the hardware with brass hinges that I bought at home depot for around $3 and added a really cool knob that I purchased for $2.50.  I got the idea because I wanted a secretary's desk that I saw on eBay in this color and my husband said you already have one like that just fix it.  So I did!
